The error "available memory < 16 MB" generally occurs when you try to run Counterstrike 1.6 from a 64 bit Operation System. To fix the problem, right click on cstrike.exe and click on properties. From there got to compatibility tab and set the exe file to run in compatible mode in Windows 7 or maybe windows xp service pack 2 (select the one by which the game runs, in my case, windows 7)

Experiencing Battlefield 3 sound lag? Follow the steps to fix the problem- STEP 1- After starting the game, minimize the game and open task manager. STEP 2- Go to processes tab in windows 7 or details tab in windows 8 and 8.1. STEP 3- Right click on the process bf3.exe  STEP 4- Go to set affinity and select only one CPU, i.e you will run the game using only single core.
